We use a method called Advanced BioStructural Correction ™ (ABC ™). A unique system of structural correction through the specific and precise manipulation of the body.
Unlike other treatment modalities, ABC ™ gives a real and immediate change to the body structure by stretching to release the tissue adhered to the spine and correct badly aligned bones due to past and everyday injuries.
With ABC ™, treatment only applies to bones that are out of place in a direction that the body can not correct. Nobody else does it and it is what makes us unique and so effective.
This system of stretching and specific corrections helps and supports the body, since it unlocks and unwinds the old layers of accumulated lesions and compensation patterns or what we call Anterior Vertebra Syndrome. This is the term we use to describe the layers of structural changes that can be generated in a body, where it is often observed as a fallen, bent, inclined or twisted posture.
Focusing on the improvement of the structure we address the cause of the so-called secondary conditions, the symptoms created by a primary structural problem: headache, back pain, respiratory problems, poor posture, among others.
Instructions for all patients (pre and post-treatment)
Breathe in – Breathe out – Relax – Let your body slump
You will probably think that the images have been retouched but are real cases of some of our patients.
Come & try – “Feeling is Understanding” (Wim Hof)
The posture is not just about how we see ourselves, it’s about how our body works internally. Unfortunately, many people think that a fallen posture is just an aesthetic problem. Most people do not know that a bad posture is, in fact, a health problem. The optimal position is essential if you want to be as healthy as possible.
Why?
better posture = better functioning of the nervous system = improvement of health in general.
Let’s look at some anatomy. The structural support for maintaining a vertical stance is provided by the spinal column. This consists of 24 bones called vertebrae. Within the spinal column the spinal cord is located, which is the central connection between the brain and the rest of the body. The brain is the most important organ in the body and attached to the spinal cord forms the central nervous system. Between the vertebrae important nerves pass through the spinal cord, which travel through the entire body. In this way, the nervous system controls each cell, tissue and organ. For this reason, the state of the nervous system directly determines the state of our health.
Daily stresses and excessive use of the spinal column (accidents or fall back, prolonged sitting or standing session, sleep in bad places, etc.) can lead to misalignment of the vertebrae. These spinal misalignments can cause interference in the signals sent between the brain and the body, and thus decrease the function of the nervous system.
Our bodies have muscles that can help reposition our bones in the correct place. This is what happens most of the time, but not in every case because there are situations where the body does not have these muscles. As for the vertebrae it happens when one moves forward, in this case we do not have a muscle to correct it behind. As a result, the position begins to collapse forwards. A forward stance can put a lot of tension in the spinal cord, further reducing the function of the nervous system and as a consequence our health.
The discomforts that may be associated with poor posture include: cervical pain, back pain, lower back pain, headache among others, but also difficulty breathing, decreased blood circulation, hormonal regulation and digestion. In addition to this, a forward stance is related to a poor mental state, a decrease in energy, high blood pressure, a greater chance of having a heart attack and therefore an early death.
Do you still think that posture is only a good looks?
Contrary to what many people believe, a good posture depends on the position and operation of the spine, not by the strength of the muscles. Of course, the muscles help keep the body upright, but no matter how strong they are, after a while they get tired and the posture will collapse. Because the structural problems of the spine are addressed with ABC ™, the body will remain upright by itself, without having to use the muscles. Once your posture has been corrected, your nervous system will work better and you will have a better quality of life.
